king blackfoot wheel hexes?

hi all, im after four wheel hex's for a king blackfoot, ive got some nice wheels that i want to use on my thunder tiger ssk but the hex's on the ssk are about 1-2mm to narrow, the ones on the rear of the king blackfoot are spot on, does anybody know if another tamiya truck which is 4wd uses the same hex? im struggling trying to find them. any help or info would be great.  thanks dan

 i too had been trying to locate the KBF wheel hexes by themselves without having to buy a whole "d" tree to get them. i ended going with tamiya's aluminum 'pin-type' wheel adaptors......

tamiya part # is 53056. these are far stronger than the stock plastic units and they come in sets of 4.

the only thing i had to do to get these to fit, was to slightly enlarge the center hole with a 5mm drill bit.

i'm not sure if this would be neccesary on your application though.......

thanks mate, are they as wide as the king blackfoot hex, ive seen some on ebay and have emailed the guy for the width of the hex. fingers x they will be ok.

yes, they are identical to the plastic units! just stronger[] both are about 5.5mm wide from what i can see.
