Crawler has had some last minute mods to make that awful Proline F150 shell look a little better, still think it's awful though..

Yeh was a cracking day, had issues with my cars as usual.. But drowning the XC is my own fault.  Mind you gave me a chance to get some photos.. especially proud of the blackfoot ones (sgt.barnes ex shelf queen material Blackfoot)..

Another great day out chaps and some gorgeous crawlers being run.

I'll have to make something prettier than my twister - putting a proper

shell on it would help, then again an ESC that can handle two motors

will also help!  Rich I take it you won't be forgetting about your

cars again - at least not when they are underwater?[:S]

I liked

the way Mike managed to save his thumb from injury and kept it free of

bandage - thats getting your priorities right [;)]

Lots of good photos as well, the light was perfect. Just wish I had a working camera as I had a lot of free time after the Clod died.[:(]

Yeah, my crawler just WOULDNT drown either, i even had Mark fish it out because of the bandaged hand, because i couldnt see it!

Was thinking about the next North West Meet, how about the 28th January (earliest I can attend :( work and Christmas getting in the way, although I am off Boxing Day [:D] hmm maybe a run then too?).  Delamere Forest should be a good place for us all tor run, have been there a few times and there are many great areas for buggies, trucks, trialers etc. Its a good alround area to run cars, plus the trees give a certain amount of cover if it decides to rain.  Theres an area called the bomb hole which provides good parking very close.

Right, Im going to head down to Delamere Forest on Boxing Day for a quick run with the cars so anyone else up for the meet? Reckon a meet between 12.30 and 1pm at Delamere Station will be a good start should give us a few hours of running.

It should be a good area to run most offroad cars and trucks, with some rougher stuff for trialing. http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.a...5258&id=280 these pics were taken at the area we are going to.

I should be taking my 3speed, twin detonator, lunchbox, wild one, xc etc.

I will try and get up to this one with Twin Detonator (haven't tried the Pro-Stock II's out yet) and the Boom(shake, shake, shake the room)erang!! Have a party but I may sneak out and let the wife prepare the house....well....I'd only get under her feet anyway[:D]

Delamere forest is 1/2 hour for me. Only snag is ive got only got one off roader, a Superchamp and its not up and running. I will have to get it finished. I could make the 28th and serve tea and scones ??

Ok, finally last change to the time I promise..  The meet at delamere Station is going to be 11am.  If anybody is coming and not sure of how to get there email me and I will sort you out with either directions or my mobile number to sort an easier place to meet.

Yeh wasnt a bad little meet, lots of leaves on the ground but suppose it is winter and in the middle of a forest so should be expected.  A few cars got broken (not just me for a change), though I did take a broken car forgetting that it was broken DOH!!!!.  Didnt take too many pics (28 in total, and most terrible) spent too much time either breaking my cars or trying out my new video camera... just got to get lead now.

As far as people who attended - Quincey, Steve (Quincey's brother), MadMax, Feeoff and myself.  Nice to see 2 highlifts running, both seemed to roll down hill quite nicely, test ran my 6x6 and decided to throw away the tlt tyres and wait for the 2.2's to arrive.

And finally we all realised that if MadMax is let loose with either of his f150's then either take cover or wear protective clothing!

So who's up for a meet on the 28th January and any suggestions where we can meet.
