If anyone recognises the signiture, I used to post on RCMT Network. Had a 4 - Link Pumpkin for a while that I built, Cant fnd any pics on my machine unfortunately. I have a normal photos on paper somewhere, but no scanner at home.

Its been suggested by Quincey that there is a good spot to run in North Wales, with a large area of flat grass with a mound in middle, and a spot that gives possibilites for attempted jumps accross the road! (sign me up for that one).  Downsides its up a mountain but plenty of car parking space, with tarmac and hard packed dirt (rallycars??)

Webbwhacker I think a run closer to you can be arranged sometime in the year (sooner rather than later) and Im sure Quincey will be able to understand the mini thing, he has an old mini (complete with sliding windows, and 4 gears).  Video clips have finally been downloaded to computer so just got to find time to join em together in some manner. (probably a week today :( )

Well that does sound good. To be honest, i think anywhere south of blackpool is a bit for me to be going for half a days run, cost of feul and everything.

A 61' Morris!, that does sound nice, I've only got a common-as-muck MkIV ! :) Of corse it does mean im obliged to mod it to the back teeth, without any moral duty of spoiling originality! [H]

If its of any interest to anyone, theres a few vids I did on the Lakes Tour this past year on YouTube http://www.youtube.com/results?search_quer...catingthemuffin

Least it's a propper mini tho eh! Yeah you get out of em half deaf with back-ache, but at least it's not a NEW mini [:D]

Too bloomin right! [:D]  -In all fairness, I'm sure the BMWs are great 'small cars', but naming them after something as British as fish & chips, and football hooligans? -Just not on. Plus you often see more of them than real Minis on Mini gatherings these days. (And its got nothing to do with the fact that they leave us standing on the duel carrage ways & motorways :) )

webb - saying that though, my mums got a BMW 316 Ti SE Compact ( hatchback ) and it's not nice sitting in the back ( I don't really fit ), so the mini has got to be worse!

And yep! It's as German as sausage!

I would imagine so. Mind you, have you ever sat in the back of a Classic Mini? -Its a bit tight!

We had 8 people in mine once, back in college. It went ok, it cornered just fine, but it just wouldnt stop! -Both feet on the middle pedal, and the handbrake on, just about stopped it from 30mph :lol

Oi... this is not a **** Mini appreciation thread :(, back on topic please guys!  Ok if Ade cant make it and is the only one who can get us there its time to arrange another place to meet.

So come on, time for all the rest of you to come up with an idea  Somewhere we can run ALL cars, rally, mini, offroad etc.... PLEASE.

Used to have a Kyosho (God forbid!), RS500 (The big Sierra), which was brilliant to slide around on wet tarmac. Looking forward to seeing some video from the Delamere forest run!

You mean one of these  [:P]

Me too! still do [H]

Thats the one. They were very good chassis' in all honesty, double wishbone F & R, and a huge wide track and the RS500 was a hoot to drive because of the sheer size, lack of a ball diff, or tyres with any real traction! [:D] Yep, I regret selling that one.
