I've got a King Cab coming, should be better on the beach than a rally car! ( Bringing rally car anyway, i've heard about Diff troubles with a king-cab! )

Anyone know about king-cab's? Hints? Tips?

It's coming from Bangstick with a diff-rebuilt kit, but i've heard the diffs arent that great anyway? I've got a 13x2 i could put in it, or a Dirt Tuned?

Can the diff cope with a 13x2?

If you need any advice on the diff let me know but I would be tempted to turn the motor down a bit. But dont worry, I have a few spare diffs for these I will bring with me for ya mate. [Y]

I've got a Dirt-Tuned motor coming, i'll throw that in it and have some pity for the poor little diff!

Other than building it properly, not overtightening it and using proper lube ( lol ) is there anything else that can be done to bullet-proof it?

( M3 Bolt through it, Solid axle style )

The KC is running a 13x2 now, after i was pretty dissapointed by the turn of speed brought by the dirt tuned!

It spat a driveshaft out this morning, i need to give everything a good looking at! If it spits one out at the beach i'm stuffed!

The truck just sat there and i could hear the motor spinning and i thought, ****, the diff has died! LOL!

Lets not start the pesimistic view on the weather... I know for a fact its gonna be a good day, little cold and breezy but what do you expect in the North West UK, on a beach in January.

Last meet on the beach was according to the Met office likely to be rained off, how wrong they were.

 

OK one and all.  "The weather is going to be fine"!!!!!! Any more talk of the wet stuff will result in said member being buried to his neck in sand. (wont need to dig a big hole, can go in head first)

Looks like I won't be making this one guys, too much work and too little time at the moment means I'm working the weekend. A modelmaking job which should have been finished a week ago has been delayed several times so now I've got no time to spare.

Hi guys just loading the car up ! pumpkin, falcon,blackfoot, twin det, alpha3, + anything else I can fit in lol. Danny and neil are coming too [Y] No planes again though as I would have to dump neil to fit it in [6]  Anyone else bringing a video camera?

I'm taking my Digi Cam, a shed-load of batteries ( it goes through them like there is no tomorrow! )  and 2 or 3 SD cards so i should get a fair bit of footage and stills! ( Will also have my phone too, LOL! )

I've got my 13x2 TT01 ( with Ghetto Fabulous shock mount fix! [] )

13x2 King Cab ( incase the TT01 gives up the ghost, LOL! ) I can swap the RX and ESC over into this!
