Doubt it chap, think we need to talk about it first.

Can we please use the NWN forum as the various different discussions is getting confusing on here and use this one for posting and talking about meets.

has somebody got a link to the nwn forum then please.

Daz and everyone else the main site for NWN is www.northwestnutters.co.uk and the forum is http://nwnrc.mybb3.org. Alot of hardwork and time has been put into this by Lammac (Neil) and more people need to start using that. We will continue to use here too for upcoming meetings but when it comes to various different topics its much less confusing having a full forum to use.

Thanks I appreciate that someone has gone to all that hard work to create a site for the nwn. But to be honest I am not a big internet user and only visit a few sites rebury. And as I pay for the use of Tamiya club that's one of the sites I use most.

I thought that the Neston lunchbox race meet was organised through the tamiya club forums.

No offence ment by any of this I am just letting you know how I feel.

A good man once said itys good to talk .LOL . But I think that was a phone add.

Well i figured that one thread on a forum gets confusing when its cluttered with several different conversations at once.. so when theres a whole forum available it makes sense to use it.

Any chance of a NW Racing forum on the NWN forum? I'd ask on the NWN forum but im at work and cant log into it for some reason.

Cool!

I'd like to know about all the clubs in the NW area too. Plus it'd be a great place to get more people into racing :)

MESSAGE TO ALL NORTHWEST NUTTERS rc members

In the nicest possible way ;)

Recently this thread which was started originally to announce new meet dates and venues has become a general "all topics thread" Although to some folks it's easier to just pop on and have a quick natter (which is good), it does become a bit confusing to all those using the thread for it's original purpose (announcing meets dates and directions), due to details and maps becoming fragmented between other conversations. Although North west nutters was started on this very thread it is not part of Tamiyaclub.com and as such has a separate website that was built kindly by LAMMAC for the purpose showing who we are, what we do and a place for members to "hang out" show you latest bash pics and videos etc. Also the forum on there was built to deal with all the subjects discussed here and even others not nessacarily even to do with NWN or "bashin" It's a totally free site and a great resource for pulling more like minded people together who like doing what we do. The more you use it the more it will grow and the bigger and better the bashes will be. I understand some people feel "well I have paid to use the T.C site so I'am going to get my moneys worth" but the TC is a free forum too just like the Northwestnutters you haven't paid for this either. The bottom line is the more you use the site and forum the better it will get and the bigger the bashes will be as more people will be attracted to a busier site. If there is any special sections you would like adding even just for you, just ask ! All you have to do is go to the forum, sign up, and sign in and enjoy. Clicky -----> NORTH WEST NUTTERS FORUM <----------- ;) Go on you know you want too ! :)

All your pics and video would also be a great addition to the club as neil is building an picture archive and a video gallery to compliment the great revolving hall of fame gallery already on there. Plus we are looking for ideas of your own. If there is anything or any ideas that will get you going back , tell me, biggus or neil and we will gladly sort something out whether it be a game on the site, forum section or somthing you DON'T like. And remember it's all FREE ;)

Please let us know what you think. Sgt.barnes My email

Biggus Ditchus His email

LAMMAC (your webmaster) His too

Thanks for reading my request guys

Ok Guys

Next meet is This sunday Jan 25th so here's some upto date directions too beaky. More the merrier !

Google Maps link. Zoom out for directions from motorway!

http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&hl=e...mp;t=h&z=15

Coming from north or south, Come off at M6 junction 32, You will come to a large roundabout. Take the 3rd exit (GARSTANG RD) to the north upto the broughton village cross roads. You will be at a set of traffic lights having just passed a filling station (kinders) and a model shop (speedy models) on your right hand side. Turn right (WHITTINGHAM LN B5269 ) and drive about 2 miles, you will go under a motorway bridge. Less than 1/4 of a mile past the bridge is a left turn (LONGLEY LN) and possibly a Beacon fell sign ? This takes you onto the back roads. Follow the main route, don't turn off unless you see the signs for the Beacon fell country park. Then just keep following the signs and don't talk to any strange sheep or cows ;) If you look at the 1st image it shows the back lane run from the end of longley lane to beaky (print this off and take it with you) The lane name signs may not be there in reality so be warned. Please don't attempt to follow the red line literally unless you have a good off roader ;) . If you get lost ring me on 07790 107950 I'll come and get you, then point and laugh :) (only kidding)When you get to the fell (more a big hill covered in tree's) there is a one way system in operation that goes clockwise. Just follow this round untill you see the Tamiya/NWN logo sign it's an easy turning to miss hidden under trees. The other car parks are quite open. I will make a logo sign for the carpark entrance.

See you there !!
