Who's up for a scale trail meet at Thurstaston Common on Saturday. Basically take your highlift, XC, CR01, Axial scaler, scratch built scale truck etc for a walk. I have run there and its a good place to test out your truck.

Hi Fella

Do you have a map for thurstaston common ?

Ok, Roop(Wireless) has been in touch with me and he is coming back from Geneva for the Easter Weekend and wants to have a meet with us and Volksrod, Twisty, Wild Willy, Zakspeed etc. Now Im sure many of you have seen Mooseys vids so you will realise they are always up for a load of fun.

Not sure exactly where the meet is but it will be arranged closer to date (wont be too far), now this meet will be scale crawlers maybe a few vintage cars, but certainly nothing fast(sorry to those guys I do hope you will turn up though) mainly due to the location but also the vintage nature of the cars that will be being run

Please lets as many of us that can turn up.. we can arrange a car share for getting there to keep costs down for those travelling from likes of wirral.

It is looking like mostly a trail meet, so the potential for a BIG fun meet.

I just booked it off, I hope no one jumps on me as it's easter weekend ! My new 4 link xc should have arrived when I get home ! I will have to get a move on and get it ready ;) I may finish the FAV and paint it up as well. Plus my new F150, I am looking forward to this one !

Have we settled on a location ? Roop was asking for a central one ? Thurstaston ? or wigan is very central with nice trail scenary. Looks like I will be car sharing with Roop.

I think Terry knows wigan best ? Any good for trail ? or should we stick to Thurstaston ?

Thanks for trying to secure the location Simon, we knew it wasn't confirmed so don't beat yourself up over it.

Next up then. New location required. Somewhere around Manchester area...? Let's to get as central a point for us all as possible because Rich is heading over from the Wirral and Joe (Volksrod) is out towards Sheffield. I know stuff W.Yorkshire way as that's where I do most my bashing, but that's not really central.

By central, I mean equi-distant in travelling, not central Manchester...!

Thoughts..?

Cheers,

Roop

Chapel en le frith (Buxton) That was a top spot ! It is just south of stockport

Pretty central. Nice. What's there regards to spaces to run Mark...? (For those that haven't been before)
