Trouble with A-slicks

Has anyone else had problems keeping A-slicks glued to the rims?

I get into a race about five laps before the tire pushes half off the rim. I try to keep things clean and use CA glue...is that the wrong way for these tires?

Have you tried washing the tyres and wheels in soapy water to wash off any grease / release agent which may be present, then rinse with clean water and  let air dry.
