Yea, Yea, Yea but its still a 3 speed.....lol....jerry

I haven’t pre ordered one yet. I was planning to buy from either
stellamodels, Jason (on eBay) or possibly try RC-champ (haven’t used them before).
I will be buying one for myself, one for my brother and one for a friend of his.
There is a possibility that a forth person joins in on the order and perhaps my
brother wants one to keep NIB but so far only three cars are confirmed wanted.

Where
do you guys pre-order from?

I have placed an order with rainbowten.co.jp/english  ,not used them before but after emailing them and asking about they seem to sound very good and fast at getting things out..

time will tell  and hopefully not too much time

I’ve seen links and mentioning of rainbowten.co.jp here on
TC before. Those that mentioned them seemed very pleased so need to worry. What are the pre-order from rainbowten?

Do they have a pre-order price on their site. I cant find it?

58372 RC FORD F350 HIGH LIFT 39800YEN (Pre-order: 35820YEN) x 3

That was for each of the three units...assuming exchange at about 110 yen to US dollar that would be about..$325 US plus shipping...A Brusier from JR is a about $60 US to ship to the US..Not bad you can buy 5 of these for the price of a NIB Bruiser.....

hi go to the main site and click on hobby show 2006 and about half way down is a pic of the truck with release price and a pre order price (35820YEN preorder price) it works out about £210-£220 inc shipping to the UK EMS shipped

I've ordered a couple from HLJ in <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Japan & a couple from Rainbow ten.[:D]<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

I wonder who will be the fastest.[O]

[:$]In fact I might of ordered a couple twice from HJL as I messed [*-)]the order form up and received 2 confirmation [E]e-mail’s.

But I'm sure there will be a few people wanting to trade them. So am not to bothered.

I've also asked Tag Model's in the UK to reserve 1 as I would like to keep an English NIB version.

I will never pre order. As you said, you don't know shipping yet, and the company could charge you more than 100 gallons of real gas to ship it. I have always liked dealing with Stella, so I will let the Hype blow over and order mine from Stella a few months after they are out like all the others I have done. [:P]

And guess what, I will still have one on my shelf and all the people who order months before will be my test ginea pigs to see what is good and what needs replaced right away, so please....order for me testers so I can get some info on it! [:D]

I will order from Stella when the time is just right. When that is said, it must have A LOT of fauls if I end up not ordering one. (Total transmission brakedown on the first drive)

Or maybe I will go broke at my LHS because I just had to have a closer look, and could not leave again before my VISA card blowd up:-)

I will also get one. but I think I'm gonna suport my LHS if not the price of the kit is stupid high. If it is I'm going to order it from stella or something..

HighLift is looking better and better each time somebody post new pictures of it. Hope Tamiya comes out with some different bodies for it in the future as I like old skool look. I'm a Ford man so I like the body but I think it would look cool with 70s or 80s body style bodies.

But I got to save some of my money because later this summer I gonna get one, one way or the other[:D]

Cheers![;)]

I gotta agree with the last previous posts.  I needn't yet another

NIB

kit right now anyway as good grief I have enough unfinished kits

already!  I want  to make sure this "new kit" with its

apparantly new transmission (going by the available pics) is going to

handle a good run.  I don't care to end up owning a Juggernaut I

and find out the driveline "oops!...wasn't quite built strong

enough".[:'(]  I'll probably purchase from Stella, after other's

have worked out any potential problems.

As much as I think it’s important to use your LHS (without them
the number of people who start with this hobby would drop dramatically) there
is no way I’m buying this one at my LHS. I take my hat of to those of you in Norway that buys this kit at the LHS. In my opinion some kits are just too expensive and
this kit will be one of them. The price of a Knight Hauler in Norway is
4750NOK or almost $780US and that is just the kit (no MFC) and let’s not even talk about
the prices of the 1/16 tanks. I’m pretty sure I’ll pay less than half the price
of my LHS when I order this kit from Japan
or Hong Kong.

Well to me its[:o] quite obivious that Tamiya does not look to this club for any kind of purchasing power...The original "New Bruiser" link had like 31,000 reads and 450 replys...When this link dies, as it will in a few days, I believe the actual number of purchases from this club will be under 100...AND if I were a kid I would get the T max gas long before considering an electric 3 speed..My question is after all the hype from the LOUD minority, who will be buying these relics other than the relic collector and runners like myself..[;)]  Remember this is not a $99 Hornet, Grasshopper, WWII but a substantial investment for most people...Anyway I would love to be a fly on the wall in a few months when the sales figures hits the home office...lol....and I believe if anyone ever mentions the re-issue of an SRB Tamiya will put a contract out on you..lol...I do hope I am wrong and they sell a million but if not they have still made a few people happy..

For the new F-350, I would wait at least a few months until the prices have settled.  If Tamiya plans to release life like those of the 1/14 big rigs than the price should be pretty cheap around US$220.00-250.00 like those of the big rigs go for.

I think your underestimating not only the buying power of this club but to the scale crawler segement out there.  Keep in mind that coupled with the MFC unit this truck is going to be hot.  I think it will entice more people to buy one than normally would.

Still I think Pleiku is right on this one, its always the same in TC, when somethink nice is presented in TC (like your cages Jim) everyone jumps and says he will buy a dozen, but when the item goes into production, suddenly it gets very quiet here [;)] LOL It will be really interesting and funny to compare the number of F350s in TC in few months to the number of posts and topics beginning for a new 3 speed release [;)] Thats another proof of the arugment that TC cant force any re-release as even inside TC the sales are much lower then the posts asking for them. Of course as you say Jim, there is luckily also a world outside TC which will buy many F350s, I can also see many crawler, trial, or semi rig fans jumping to them.

AND if I were a kid I would get the T max gas long before considering an electric 3 speed...

I wouldn't Jerry.

I think that this truck COULD be a big hit, with Us and the Scale Crawler Guys.
