I see on Tamiyausa that it is already discontinued. And they are out of stock at towerhobbies and not getting more because discontinued. Darn I wish I didn't wait, now no one has them in stock in the states.

I guess it didn't sell too hot. I wonder if the Manta Ray is far behind. I am going to stock up on Frogs and Hornets just while the getting is good! Don't want to miss out by waiting!

LOL, they are still on ebay for $85-$100, even the original is sold for $210 BIN! I think you should seriously reconsider your prices or check the market better [;)]

Tower had them listed as discontinued yesterday; today they are "In

Stock--Limited Quantities."  Get 'em while you can, boys.

I live in Australia and have to do alot of searching on the net to find things I want! I buy alot from Hong Kong and Japan as postage is cheap. I paid US$242 for 2 Thundershots including postage. I bought the last 2 from Jason's Store (jr-rc) on ebay but if you go to www.rcmart.com they have them for US$96.50 + postage of around US$40 worldwide from memory. I have bought stuff from them before and have found them to be very reliable and have quick delivery. Hope this helps

Cheers,

Chris

There is a world also outside tower hobbies, in ebay there are some in USA for $99 and in HK for $89, so please don't panic if TH doesn't have them.

If I am correct, and please correct me or ad to it........The Thunder shot, The C-Chassis Cars, and F40 are all now discontinued. You can still get the Gasshopper, Hornet, Lunch Box Midnight Pumpkin at least in Metallic, Top Force and Frog are all still available! Hope this helps.

From looking at Tamiya USA's website it appears that most of the parts

have not yet been discontinued.  Hopefully they will keep

producing them a while longer even if the kit isn't available.

In some ways, I think its quite nice that although Tamiya are re-releasing old kits, they are doing them in limited runs. It keep the desirability high for both the new stuff and their comparable vintage cars. Its great to see folks so excited about them; perhaps that's why we never grow out of our valued 'toys' [:)]
