Twin Motors

Recommended Posts

Hi

I've just had my 1st go with my new wild dagger its totaly standard apart from a ballrace kit.Already i want to upgrade it a little but i have 2 wait till the end of jan till i get an ESP for it. Right what i want to ask is can i find motors of different winds to the front and back or will this cause me aload of hassle ( still with the 3step SP) or should i just leave it as it is for now.

Thanx Matt :-)

The original speed control is overloaded as is with the two standard motors (even with ball bearings), so I highly recommend getting an ESC before mounting hotter motors. Running at the two lower speeds is worse than full speed, and it's actually more the resistor that get overloaded and hot than the speed control itself. I have seen many Wild Daggers with the chassis melted around the resistor, so I suggest repositioning it to avoid damaging the chassis. Alternatively you can mount the 15 Watt resistor offered by Kyosho, which will run a little cooler.
