A Section For Static Models?

Tamiya started out with static models and branched out to RC afterwards. As a Tamiya Club should there be a section dedicated to static models?  Currently, I think the static models get put in the Misc. classifications?  I am into static model as well, the details are truly amazing but the painting works are just a pain to do.  Any possibilities or the set up and classifications are just too much given 90% are RC junkies?

Hm ... even most modelers started with static models and went into RC later ... and I had a long history with static models from Tamiya (most being 1/35 military). So this idea sounds reasonable. I even get excited today when I open a static model kit ... especially a Tamiya ...

No, they have their own section, but I agree it's a little underrepresented.

Well, I'll be darn.  I never knew it existed.  Looks like I'll be spending some time in the static model sections and check the kits out.
