Picked it up around lunchtime, got home and was feeling a little worse for wear. Took a couple of tablets and headed to bead, got up around 2 O'clock, and decided to get going.

Very easy way that tamiya bagged the parts, making so you only have to open the bags you need for that particular section.

Had the front end made within half an hour, the worst part was getting the little pin to stay in as i got the spur gear into the slot, but after that, sorted.

Got the back end finished in an extra half hour, so took me around an hour and 10-15 minutes.

Would of carried on but we had company due so i had to pack everything away, with a rolling chassis with no elecs, i'll get them in Tomorow.

I've charged my two battery pack, 1 Ni-cad 2500 mAh pack, as the dude in the shop said although it'll have less run time, it'll have alot more punch, if ever i want to race. Also 1 Ni-mh 3000 mAh pack for bashing with longer run times.

I'l let you know how it all goes with the electrics tomorow, i would of taken some pics of the construction, but wasn't feeling great anyway, so just couldn't be asked.

I may get a vid of the first run, again, if i can be bothered.

But yeh, nice, easy, fast assembly, with only a couple of fiddly bits.

yeah TT01's are a breeze to make espcially due to there simple set length upper arms which are much easier than turnbuckles (a must have hotup)

did u install bearings from the start?

Yes, but my LHS didn't have the four different sized bearings that replace the standard bronze ones that hold the diffs in place, but i'm not that fussed as it doesn't seem to move much anyway.

Its a LITTLE tricky keeping the wheel nut things on and pin in while i stick the wheel on.

either apply a little grease or make sure you keep them hoziontal whislt applying the pin then the hub.

i would advise bb's before u upgrade or run too much as they will wear + they let a lot more dirt into the drive train there bearings so nt gd if u go rallying.

I've got it fully ballraced except for the ones that, as far as i can see, dont actualy move.

I'll probs drift it first, as that seems the most appealing to me right now, but may sort out that second set-up for rallying.

Is that so you can drive it slowly into the car park and give all us drifters tickets for dangerous driving..?

That's be something to see - an RC remake of Fast & Furious - a

bunch of drifters trying to escape from a Focus police car [:D]

yeah a police car would be really cool so long as you dont run anyone over with it like in the storys in the paper!!!! will you fit the flashing lights??? if theres a way to fit a siren to it that would be sooo cool possibly annoying though!!

RAM used to make a very scale light bar and had a few different light kits to go with it, difference being more or less flashing lights
