SHOW ME YOUR PAINT JOBS!!!

i need some help as i am looking to spray my new subaru imprezza (58333) but i dont want to spray it blue 9 times out of ten if you see a scooby its blue!!!. so i was thinking jet black or gun metal. but my conundrum being that i dont know how the gun metal colour looks, whether it is more metalic black or dark grey looking. So therefore:

if you have a pic of a car or shell (lexan) painted in GUN METAL if you could please upload it so i can have a little look at the colour. i will be using tamiya ps spray paint for lexan shells.

hi matey, i paint my first r/c in gun metal colour paint. it looks a smidge darker in the pics i tool but i hope it helps, i also did a pic of bothe caps of the gun metal colour and light gun metal for comparison[]

This is my drifter painted in Tamiya Gun Metal, that colour should look good on a scooby.

cool choice carnage - u can't go wrong with black, ru gona put the rally decals on or will it just be a street version?

If you haven't totally committed to a color yet, I suggest you do an image search on the web.

NO BLUE I DONT WANT ANY **** BLUE!!!!!!! LOL[] I will probably put most of the rally decals on might skip a few,i do want it to look more rally than street though. silver...nah. i thought of red or racing green to but think ill stick with black. Hey also ACDC made black a cool colour lol.

I'm hoping to build a drift scooby next month, and I'll be painting it black, with some subtle red metalflake.

Reason being, a mate of mine owned a 1:1 scooby with this paintjob -

looked black, but if you saw it in the sunlight it would reflect red

highlights.

I'll be building a street shell (no rally decals) 'cos everyone knows the best drifters do it on the street []
