Saw this ad for some newer r/c stuff, which posed no interest for me in this particular case. But he also had some other old Tamiya buggies according to the ad.

Mailed him asking for som info. After 3 (long) days i got a reply asking if i already had got some pictures of them, as he didnt know much about them.

No, i havent recieved any pictures, but please send some.

Thats like 5days ago.

I mean, does he want to sell the stuff, if so why dont check the mail a bit more often. I see that people cant check the mail all the time, but if you have something for sale, and someone might buy youre stuff, you might want to be a little more alert. And if youre going away, you might want to share that info with a person that might buy your stuff.

It does seem that someone else has got some pictures sent, and the cars may be sold. But just mail me and say so in that case!!!

It´s not my style to beg to get to buy someones stuff, so i wont send another email.

When I see someone is a very slow emailer I usually politely write I am not interested anymore and  leave, as these kind of people often are also slow in shipping and have caused me sometimes also other problems. Its like in ebay or TC traderoom you can immediately see from the description and pics if someone is caring and correct for a trade. There are of course expeptions, not all slow emailers and sellers with one lousy pic and no or bad description are bad dealers, but my experience has showed me to rather not risk it except if price is too good, as most of time bad pics and description are not coincidencal but to hide flaws.

True, if it takes forever to respond/check the email, one can only imagine the time needed to get to the postoffice with the stuff in case of a deal.

If no mail has come today, i´m letting him know i´ve lost interest.

Talking about slow, well where do I start................

I put a post in the Stellamodels forum, that was last week, since then I have emailed them and do you think I have received a reply................. NO........

I have since left another post for them asking if they are too busy or not interested in selling anything to me, I have mailed the other companies on this site and always get a very fast reply, and fantastic service. I was hoping to order  from Stella, but not so sure now. Maybe if they mail me some time and I feel up to ordering, but hey. it is there loss.

Does anyone else have problems with trying to get a reply out of them?

I do steer clear of slow e-mailers as it jsut takes so long to get things sorted and i dnt want to take the risk

In my dealings with stella they have always been very prompt and efficent at returning my e-mails - as well as very helpful

try direct with there website stellamodels.net or ebay?

or perhaps they are having technical problems?

Hey,

I have just had a reply from Stella, Took Ryck's advice and mailed them straight from the web site.

Thanks for the advice.

I have had a lot of problems recently with sending and recieving emails via ebay.  Sometimes they just don't arrive... They show up in 'my messages' in ebay but not in my email inbox.  It is not my email that is the problem either as I have tried both my hotmail and work email.  I also don't think it is just me who isn't receiving them all either.  Just something to consider if a seller seems a bit slow.
