Just setting up my showroom - new member as of today and wanted to throw in a question.

What do you guys suggest as being the best Tamiya truck for jumping - I just can't stop getting out a ramp each time I take one of the trucks for a spin - must be the kid on me but seeing these things take to the air does it for me every time.

I'm no expert, I hardly ever jump my cars, but the one time I went off

a 10-foot dirt ramp with my Mad Bull, it jumped like a dream! If your

interested in a truck, I can only guess, maybe a Twin Detonator?

Thanks for the input -

Any thoughts on the Blackfoot trucks? Always look good - how do they compare to the Twin Detonator ? ( I have one built for speed as I find it too heavy for jumping)

Really want a nitro as they are way stronger and very little is plastic. TNX if Tamiya, but something non-Tamiya like the Savages are absolutley tops. They have vertical chassis plates that can be boxed in with skid plates making them unbelievably strong. Also they have 8 shocks and 6 inches of suspension travel. People literally jump houses with them.

The best jumpers I've seen so far is the 1/8 scale buggies, it's not a truck and it's not Tamiya but they are basically unbreakable and they fly like nothing else and go through the rough stuff like it's tarmac...

kingcab every time, just remember to back off before it lands or the fragile diff goes home, non tamiya wise i love how controllable my revo is in the air, by using throttle/brakes it can be made to sumersault in the air, only down side is when you get it wrong and it lands on the cylinder head which brakes the engine mounts, regually!

A light Double Blaze/Twin Detonator kitted out with full aluminium parts and oil shocks , a novak super rooster, and 14v Titan 550 Motors and a 4200mah NimH battery (maybe modd it and put the battery(s) at the rear to stop the anoying kamakazi nose dive during mid <BIG AIR.

Duratrax Evader ST, great sturdy first truck and very light. The

graphite pro version with a crowd pleaser body is very sweet. same chassis

for Ep and Gas. Very tunable,
