Hey everyone, my mate gave me his fathers old tamiya falcon he found in his storeroom, and another guy sold me an old bearhawk for 20 bucks, both broken but they were very similar, i have used the best bits to rebuild the bearhawk, i only had to buy new B parts tree for the shock towers. It goes well, however the old chassis design has many obvious weak points, Mainly where the nose and suspension assembly screws onto the tub chassis. Ill have to be carefull. what do you think?

Looks like fun! Just bought one with full RC for £19.50 lol. It's going to be run hard and abused as a runner. Glad to hear they're tough :)

These are bullit proof I have a couple and have never bust one yet. They are the natural replacment of the falcon but without all the design weakness.great pic btw

Haven't had a great interest in vintage RC, but that looks great - might have to put one on my wishlist! [:D]

thanks everyone, its going very well:) it does endless burnouts at the moment with the on road tires, and it really needs some directional front tires. I just put some ball bearings in it and its even quicker. I love how direct and simple the motor and gearbox is, and its hard shell. In the first pictures i had CVA shocks on the front but they were too big, i now have the standard friction shocks on the front with harder springs and its perfect. Great fun in the dirt
