For those looking for SRB parts may have noticed on ebay a "light

bottle green" radio box set.  If you search "tamiya rough rider"

in "All Categories" and select "Search Titles/Descriptions" in ebay.com

(not ebayUK), you'll find it about half way down

the page.

This is a part of the exact description: I THINK ITS AN EARLIER ONE AS IT`S A LIGHT BOTTLE GREEN,NOT LIGHT BROWN,CRACK FREE,FEW SCUFF`S.......

This radio box is not "crack

free".  It has the typical crack in the front screw mount.

It can be barely seen as a scratch in the top photo, but it is a

crack.  The seller confirmed this via reply email.

This may very well have been a mistake and I accept that.  I would

have even been willing to purchase his product but I do not accept his

ignoring subsequent emails asking for a closer/better picture of the

damage.  His lack of response after three days (auction ends in 1

1/2 days) tells me this is someone to avoid.  Unfortunately this

very small scratch-like damage wasn't noticed until after I bid.

I took this seller's description to be accurate (at 200+ positive

feedback who wouldn't?).

To the credit of the seller he does have significant 100%

feedback.  I too have a perfect record.  The major difference

is not the numbers but how long we have been Ebay members.

Fraudulent sellers come and go even with significant positive

numbers.  An example was "dogstar2005" with 195 feedback before he

was banned, having positive feedback up until the very last months when he was

ripping other members off one after the other.

I have been exceedingly cordial with this seller and have sent

three emails, only the first was responded by him.  This was the

reply mail he stated the tub is cracked (at the point described above a

"4mm" crack) and offered a discount if I won.  No mention of what

this discount would be and no further responses to my 2nd and 3rd

emails.  More than 72 hours have passed.  No responses after

three days when the auction ends in a little over a day  = a

seller I want nothing to do with.

You have been warned.

Best,
