Question for Chrome Pumpkin owners

Hi,

I got my chrome pumpkin in the mail today, and i have opened it and it seems a little sus. For some very strange reason, the front body mounts are in their own bag, instead of being part of the E parts tree. Clearly the fact that they are in their own bag is not a problem, however the E parts tree is one of the black/chromed trees. The front body mounts in their own bag are just plain black plastic (not chromed).

I thought this was very strange, so checked the manual, and even the manual has them separately. Does anyone else think this is strange?

The first pumpkin has the body mounts in white plastic and I think it belongs to the front grill tree. Although I don't have this metallic version, I think the best is with balck body mounts. If they come in chrome, they will be scratched by the body clips very easily.

It does seem a little odd that the rear body mounts are chrome but front ones black.  (Or is is the other way round?)

Front and rear are both very fragile - rolled the pumpkin without a

shell last week and broke one.  Still waiting for the Lexan shell

to arrive...

Lets see if posting a picture works:

On the left, are body posts from my regular pumpkin, on the right are the body posts from my chrome pumpkin, although it may be difficult to tell, the bottom one is black/chromed, and the top one is just plain black plastic.

Maybe (hopefully) they are a stronger plastic?

Boring real reason.  If you compare the white front post with the black front post, you'll find the hole is drilled in the opposite direction.

This is so you don't scratch the body with the body pin.  Tamiya have made a separate mold for the black posts, they probably thought it not economic or necessary to chrome them.
