HomerJHandley 6 Posted July 18, 2006 just bought a couple of chassis off ebay, a falcon and a boomerang. Unfortunetly the boomerang (which i wanted) needs more work than i thought as it needs a battery holder, a front bumper and a front mount and bits for the steering servo. However the falcon is a runner, only needed 2 dogbone driveshafts (i had 2 spare as i already have a falcon) and it works fine (ish) but more on this on another thread! anyhows, the receiver is old ARC-227, and have 2 servos (acoms As-7), and knowing that most collector clubs have a hardcore band that need to have everything 'period', would this be worth selling on (i dont have the TX) or leaving? ta
eek! 0 Posted July 19, 2006 Heck, just about anything original from 'the era" is possibly sellable. I would think though most vintage enthusiasts are looking for complete radio sets and in better-than-average condition.
