'vintage' radio equipment - any 'collector' value?

Recommended Posts

just bought a couple of chassis off ebay, a falcon and a boomerang.

Unfortunetly the boomerang (which i wanted) needs more work than i thought as it needs a battery holder, a front bumper and a front mount and bits for the steering servo.

However the falcon is a runner, only needed 2 dogbone driveshafts (i had 2 spare as i already have a falcon) and it works fine (ish) but more on this on another thread!

anyhows, the receiver is old ARC-227, and have 2 servos (acoms As-7), and knowing that most collector clubs have a hardcore band that need to have everything 'period', would this be worth selling on (i dont have the TX) or leaving?

Heck, just about anything original from 'the era" is possibly sellable.

I would think though most vintage enthusiasts are looking for complete radio sets and in better-than-average condition.
