Cleaning a TGX / Gas Car

What products do you use? I always have that residue on the chassis and pick up loads of dust from the road surface.

What comes highly recommended?

HPI do a nitro car cleaner,I used to use it and it was pretty good.

I can't remember exactly what was in it but it was a common enough substance/chemical that could be bought a lot cheaper than in a 500ML spray can.

Your LHS should carry 'Nitro Engine Cleaner', that's the gerneric term. HPI, Trinity, Losi, etc... It will come in an aerosol can and it is alcohol based so you just spray it on the car and let the dirt run off and the spray dries up.

Lighter Fluid is great stuff for cleaning nitro cars, doesnt attack the plastic and doesnt leave any residue and cheaper than the products advertised for the job.

I'll probably try and purchased a branded nitro engine cleaner.

the cold is not bad for u, it is the vaporising from the flued,

luckely it is not old fashion hydrolic oil.

i have bought a tiny steam cleaner, works great on cleaning the rc cars. "Dry" cleaning it with a compressor is a safe wat to go to.
