Hey, nice looking truck. I always thought the Jugg has the better looking body but the TXT the better looking chassis, i think the two together go well, as some people have done.

Still not sure about those rounded tyres on the Jugg, I know a lot of people love them but I prefer the tractor tyres you get on the Clod/TXT.

Have you got working fog lamps on your truck or are they just reflecting sunlight?

looks sweeeeeeet [H]

nice hop up bits, and the paint on the shell looks superb.

only thing i think it needs are the jugg 2 decals.

i know a lot of people love the clean look, especially on this shell, but i think the jugg 2 logos would really finish it off.

i like the jugg tyres. dont the normal clod ones hit the suspension arms anyway, unless widerners are fitted? i tryed putting clod wheels and tyres on my mammoth dump truck once (same chassis) and they hit the suspension link arms.

now all it needs is some nikko cars to crush [6]

mobias - the truck is outfitted with the optional light bar/headlight kit but that would be the sun reflecting.  Oh, and the stock Jugg tires are my favourite tires too [:)] .

brokenbeetle - I have the taillight, f350, & v8 decals to put on, however I want to repaint it, add the decals (the few I chose), clearcoat it & then polish it. Unfortunately my painting skills suck, so I don't know if it will ever get done [:(] .  I'm one of those guys who loves the clean look, so decals will always be minimal on my models [:)] .

Thanks for the comments fellas - still looking to hear about other future projects - I've dropped a line about one of mine !

ok then [:)]

my future project is a mod clod. basicly, i'm not trying to make a crawler, or a racer, just a scale looking car crushing monster [H]

so far, i've designed and built the 2 chassis sides, loosly based on the txt-1 chassis sides, but mine are 400 mm long, and the tail half of the chassis is longer than the front half.

this is because i've designed it so the chassis fits the stock clod body. i didnt want to use a lexan shell, and i really have a thing for the chevey body [:P]

the sides are made from - steel bar! they are welded together and a so rigid you can actually stand on them. this chassis will not break [:P]

as i dont want a crawler, or a racer, the weight of the chassis isn't so much of a issue. but surprisingly, the steel doesnt weigh to much.

the next step is to connect the 2 sides up and attach the suspension link points and shock absorber points.

once the chassis is done, i'll buy a doner clod for the axels and body. i'm guessing this thing will weigh about 5 or 6 kilos, which isnt much more than a txt-1, but still plenty to crush some 1/10 scale cars [;)]

it will have the usual 4 link suspension, again like the txt. i've got some custom top link mounts for the gearbox in the making too. i'm thinking of using a standard shock setup, rather than canterlevers.

pic of the work so far...
