didn't really know where to post this but as the title suggests I was wondering how hard it would be to make a tracked TT-01.

All you would need to do is get some ribbed rubber and make ridges in a wheel.

you have the suspension and 4WD

to be honest this thought is fading fast as the only reason I want to make one it because I haven't got the cash for a Blizzard

Hmm, looks like a case of Allanto syndrome, by the end of this thread, he will have come around to thinking.

Sell the TT01 and do some saving for a blizzard!

indeed another allanto mad thread - be sending a tamiya TT01 as a space rocket to the moon next lol (sorry should have said that theres another thread [;)])

buy a blizzard and please think of something else to modfiy bar a tt01 - its a great basher and beginner car but not really gd for anything more.

OK so about the rocked propelled car..... Joking

well the plan is to get a starter motor off of the rockets for £20 and mount it on a rolling TT-01 (I'm obsessed) I will have steering and can cut away the shell with a metal ring s an egsost with the fire coming out that would look awesome

in fact did anyone see the top gear Olympics

the rocket propelled mini on skis... SWEET

Ding Ding Ding, What do i win!?!?!

NOTHING as the rocked propelled sking machine will be in action in the near future

As interesting as it is as a Psychiatric Nurse to be able to see your mind in action on here, would it be at all possible Joel that you take time to put your brain in gear, think about your plans before you let your fingers work on the computer?

And your spelling, school must be so easy nowadays.

The thing that sends people into space is a ROCKET not a rocked, rocked is something you do to a baby to get it to sleep.

And SKING what the badword is that?????? do you mean skiing!

What is an 'anfe-car' ?

What is an 'egsost' ?

Something wrong with the education system in this country if you ask me.

How is it that pass rates and grades keep rising ?

Exams dumbed down ? Pass scores lowered ?

I know what I think.[6]

I know what I think.[6]

I think his parents went out and he found his dads lager in the fridge [:)]

And surely - if you're going to make a rocket-propelled Tamiya, the

only thing worth using is an SRB.  Because SRB stands for Solid

Rocket Booster.

SRB only means Solid Rocket Booster if you work for NASA[:)]

it is not always the same is it it is this keyboard it Misses letters and have written this post on my sisters PC as that has a wired keyboard and mine is wireless.

my keyboard was and still is playing up

Some how I fail to believe that this is the circumstance for the poor grammer and other lazy mistakes.

Anyway, could someone please clue me into how I can convert my TT-01

with a missing left wheel and broken centre shaft into a 3D helicopter

that is run on a Capsella conpressed air tank?

aaaah poor joel... i have the same sorts of nutty ideas too. for all those non believers, it wouldn't be too hard. lock up the steering (not hard), fit some small brake discs (again, not (very) hard) and fit the tracks. you could use some sort of mechanism to make a servo operate the brakes on one side and not on the other, and the diffs do the rest.

long live the nutty ideas!!!

i just came up with the ides for making a boat powered with Pro-line sand paw tyres..... ...... .....

By posting your ideas on a public forum you must expect people to give their opinion rather than what you want to hear. I think the majority are simply pointing out that your ideas consist of doing everything the hard way and starting with a base that is not very well suited.

P.S. You are the one who blamed your appalling spelling and grammatical errors on your keyboard, not us! While a keyboard can be blamed for the odd missing letter, it won't make you write egsost or anfe-car.....
