Does anybody wishes that the axles are more rounded than squarish? Don't get me wrong, I'm glad Tamiya is coming out with the HiLift, but as far as scale looks, you don't see square axles in real life.

hilift baby!! im in line and i got a ticket.man those pic's are sweet, cant wait

i wish they would have put the battery some where else ,i think it will look a lil funny with the battery sticking out the side's,maybe they could have some how got it to fit length wise under the bed are something. And is it me but in the pic's of the front does it have a sway bar , are is that bent tie rod part of the steering, also whats up with those flame's i keep on seeing a pic of daisy duke in the driver seat,i dont know why

but i cant wait! and a little birdy told me the street price is going to be in the low $300.00's

also you know what would be awsome if they were to number the kit by progressive number

The battery pics just show how to remove/replace the battery, I think;

Have a look at the pic that shows the battery hanging out (with the front of the truck facing left, gallery_9) - just above the battery is a M chassis 'hopup style' swing-away battery retainer.

I think the battery fits between the bed sides just fine, meself

Here's a shot of the opposite side, showing the end cover for the battery inside the bed sides

****...  I was hoping not to buy any more Tamiya stuff between now and Christmas, but this looks too good to pass up [:(]

I think I might have to sell one of my motorbikes to pay for this [:o]

Blister packs and a white box with real Tamiya style box art would be great!!! But I know that is wishful thinking these days!

yes, by the looks of it they use the same chassis rail as used with the 1/14 rigs.

Unless they started to make them out of plastic by surprise :)

walawala store on e-bay has bearings cheap, 47 cents each for the 1150 and 1260 sizes, then the 850's they have too

UK Release (dispatch to dealers) will be 25th September.

UK List price £299.99

NB, that's the real list price which is usually within a few £s of the "street" price, not the made up RRP which some sites are calculating and quoting.  The made up RRP would be something like £333 to £375 - I don't know how they calculate it... or if they pluck a figure out of thin air.

waahaaay thats 4 days after my birthday [:P]

but i'll probably wait a little while and see if the price goes down at all, i like to shop around [;)]

the leaf spring adjusting idea sounds good to me, and the lockable/unlockable diff sounds really cool [H]

its going to turn on the spot nearly with the 4 wheel steering enabled!

Very cool!

I like the tail lights detail and the bed.

Ok further info:

Bed rails are molded on bed

The Diff Lock: 4 screws take cover off and remove rubber plug, remove grub lock pin  and reassemble.

(Of course, reverse that order to install)

Leaf springs seem easy to adjust tension

Rear tailights also have clear area on lense for reverse

JAnderson: I'm sure, as sweet as you guys at Tamiya think it is, that there's room for improvement. As one who's been involved in my share of beta tests, I selflessly offer my services to improve the product. All you have to do is send me one... NOW! [:D]

LOL,  Nothing is perfect (Speaking from experience here) There is always room for improvement. There are somethings I wish were done differently, just like everyone will find things they think should have been done. I'm just happy and excited this is almost being shipped to consumers. I've been waiting for this bad boy for sometime now and we are getting very close!

I hope to have some video loaded tomorrow on tamiyausa.com

How close are we getting?  Tamiya is teasing me harder than my Senior Prom date.
