TAMIYA ESC TEU101BK

Hello, will this 'Tamiya ESC TEU101BK' work with Twin Motors just the stock 540's that come with tamiya double blaze, i have read in other places that it is fine, but on websites it says NOT suitable for twin motors. I know most of you guys know what your talking about so i thought id ask you, If it isnt suitable can anyone reccomend one that is suitable for under 30 pounds, The cheeper the better.

not worth the risk, that esc is hit or miss on what it can handle. Some can, but not all, wide tolerances.

a rebel or rebel 2 can do it, and most esc's that can do a 16 mod motor can do 2 stockers

I agree - nt worth the risk - keep ure teu-101Bk for a basher touring car or buggy and have some fun that way.

HELLO I AM RUNNING A 22 TURN WITH TEU101BK AND IT HANDLES IT GREAT I EVEN TRIED RACING A FALCON WITH  AREEDY 12 TURN DOUBLE BUT AFTER A COUPLE OF MINS IT CUTS OUT FROM GOING FORWARD THE TEU101 BK HAS A OVERLOAD CUT OUT SO GIVE IT  A TRY YOUR BEST BET TO PICK UP ESC IS EBAY

tamiya motors are very much an unknown as to what they take - some say sports tuned max, others run 16 turns on them and report no problems where as others have them over heating on a 23turn. There seems no definative answer. My advice is to go for an Lrp F1 esc for around £40 with a 10 turn motor limit that should have no problem with your two silver cans. Or you could just get a new msc?
