See my post a few down for the conclusion.

I got a set of wheels that were supposed to fit the older losi trucks. The wheels are made by proline(it's molded on the outside of the wheel, you have to take the tire off to see it.)

I finally got around to putting these wheels onto one of my project cars. the rears fit the losi axles as expected. The fronts do not fit the jrx2, T, pro, junior2, or pro-se that I have. the spacing between the bearings is much too wide.

With the inboard bearing flush on the spindle arm, the axle doesn't even enter the outboard bearing at all. They do not accept metric bearings, only the sae 3/8 od. I am at a loss as to what they would fit. My vintage RC10's and rc10gt have the same width axle as the losi's mentioned above.

The hubs have a ridge molded in around the bearing that is11mm, so I thought perhaps there are adapters pressed in to use the 3/8 bearing, but the hub is all one piece, there are no inserts.

Do you have any Ideas as to what these fronts actually fit?

Thanks

Those actually look like wheels for the Blackfoot...or Proline's monster truck conversion kit wheels.  They go on a much longer axle.  You'll probably need to get a blackfoot spindle or equivalent.

Yeah, Pro-line had a monster truck conversion kit.  Included with the kit were longer spindles.  I think you just didn't get the rest of the parts.

Thanks to rcchopshop.com I got the following info and a 4006 kit on the way

The conversion kit 4006 is called the "basic" conversion kit and doesn't come with the extended axles.  The kit that Proline had that had the axles included is part number 4002. For axles only: Proline part number is 5319 Losi JRxT JR2 Front Extended Axles.

From cruizinrc via ebay I got a set of the 5319 axles as well as a set of A&L axles.

The proline axles fit the wider hubbed wheels perfectly. The A&L axles fit 5mm bearings, not the SAE. They are a few mm longer than tamiya buggy axles, and much shorter than a tamiya truck axle. I guess they really are only for the A&L wheels. (go figure)

The pic shows the proline, and A&L axles along with a stock set from my stash.

Thanks again to all for their help.
