New Slideshow feature? Nice!

When did this happen? 

I just noticed the new 'slideshow' and 'new window' options below the showroom pics.

This is a really great feature, Chris!! Love it!

The slideshow is just what I've been thinking of.  The 'new window' format is OK, but the slideshow window really makes the pictures appear to be photography.. whatever the heck that means!?!

Anyhow, I have seen a number of other sites using something similar to this and always thought TC could benefit from it.  Not sure if this is a beta test or whatevs, but hopefully it's here to stay?  In any case, great work as usual - Thanks! [Y]

Noticed this one too and I like it. I'm sure we will get a slideshow for the complete set of pictures of members too with autoscroll?

Yeah, me like mucho too, but unfortunately the new feature does not work with Opera. (The banner error is an old one reported a long time ago.)

There are some odd things in opera, which I'm just not going to be able to fix to a state which will give you the nicer UI features. That said I'm just putting the finishing touches to a new routine which will turn all the fancy stuff off if you use that browser (or any other that has issues)

So the site will still work but you'll just have the Vanilla flavoured version.

I agree with others, I think it's a cool feature.  Is there a way to make them auto show after say 5 seconds instead of having to click the next button?

auto slide is not an option in the immediate future, but you can just press "n" on your keyboard to skip through.

Got the same issue with IE:

The problem only appears with "Fusion hobbies" when using "slideshow" for the big pics.

When using "new window" it works ok.

Doesn't allow the slideshow feature gifs on the background?

Why not use a jpg format instead of the gif?
