What type of paints

I will be painting a couple hardshells soon and wanted to know what type of paint is best to use eg. Laqcuer, Acrylic?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I use the Tamiya Spray right from the can. Many other TC members have used the same methood and have excelent results. See Volksrod and Moosey showrooms. Those guys do excelent work. Good prep will get good results every time. If your fluent with an air brush the tamiya acrylics are good too. 99% of my hard bodies are in tamiya spray colors and backed with tamiya primer (which I highly recommend). This yello and white SS was painted right from the tamiya spray can.
