Well, here is a teaser shot for the Club.  Thundertech "Ripper" Chassis for the TXT-1.  I am also asking the club members for their input on Wheel & Tire combinations for this ride [:)].  Keep in mind I want aluminum rims.  Any recommendations ?  While we are at it - how about body recommendations ?  Anyone ?

Also all comemnts, ideas & suggestions are welcome !  Will update this post as the project progresses - but that will be a while since the f350 is soon to arrive.  Thanks for looking.

If you want alu rims, get some Inet wideners and Maximizer X-75 alu beadlocks.

They'll take any Traxxas Maxx tire

Or you could send RC4WD some money in the hope you win the 'ship to this guy' lottery [;)]

Well good news, I scored some sweet Alloy Rims !  Suited them up with some Imex Claw Dawg Tires.  I think it looks great.  Made a mount for the ESC (stock electronics tray is way too high on the chassis).  Also added some RC4WD metal rod ends on the top chassis links.  Parts Required as of yet:

-Wheel adapters (to allow Maxx rims)

-Body (thinking of a Pro-Line Crowd Pleazer)

I welcome your comments & input.

Needs wheelnuts too [:D]

Do you reckon you need adaptors or wideners too for the wheels?

[:$].  You noticed !  Sharp eyes there Andy.  I tried a set of the Thundertech Clod to Emaxx Adapters and they are fine (unfortunately they are on my G-Made).  Looks like any adapter would work though.

Who has some extra TTR Adapters ?

How about the New Era Clod to Maxx adapters ?

Anyone ? Anyone ? Anyone ? Help me out fellas [:(].

Well, since I never seem to be satisfied, I went ahead and ordered some parts:

Polished Aluminum Center Tranny:

Wheel Adapters:

Also fitted the Traxxas Slider Shafts:

Now, all I have to do is find a body & radio then it's ready.  Ready for the Shelf [;)].  I welcome any body suggestions !  (Although I'm leaning towards the Pro-Line 2007 Chevy Suburban.  For more on the build, check my TC Photos here:
