Kamtec?

Hi all!!!

How good is kamtec radiobox for SRB´s?

Will all vintage stuff fit inside as the original box?

I just got hold NIB switch kit #SP113 and will use it with newer

radiogears and a new build hump bat etc...

to be honest i have never had a problem receiving email reply back from him i usually get a reply within a day or so, but i think hes a top bloke. I know some of you have had various problems but i can say i havent.

So why don't you ring him ? he's a great guy to deal with in my Books,And i've NEVER had a problem from him at all.

Yep, i hit th BIN on a lexan radio box, and it was here 2 days later! Never had any trouble!

I once bought a body of him from ebay for a friend of mine as I personally don't want to order after all the topics I read here and it arrived approximately 6 weeks later, no response at all to my emails.

unluckily! i bought a manta ray body from him, after 3 weeks and no item, i emailed him to which he did reply to tell me it had been posted , a week later it turned up ( posted 2 days earlier) it came with no rear spoiler which he didnt state and was a nightmare to cut out, the moral of this story is next time i'll buy a genuine tamiya 1 for a lot less hassle and probably with very little price difference! lesson learnt! cheers [:@]

Hey badboy.

I've got three Kamtec boxes now. Never had a problem myself. They are a great way to add modern gear to a scorcher. I'll take a couple of pics of my set up over the weekend. I made an alloy post that holds the servo and also acts as a post to screw the lid down to. Simple and easy.

There's only sand in there because I'm slack and haven't sealed the holes for the wires and the servo yet!

same as most, he dosent get back to your emails and its very frustrating buying from him. he does say that he has so much demand he cant cope. but he seems to have time to list on ebay and take peoples money. i threatened him with a paypal chargeback and negative feedbad. he answered that email and i got the shell 2 days later took 2 weeks in all

I've bought various things from Keith, he's always been really helpful - sourced me some parts for my Mardave Mini hybrid car, as well as sorting me out a spare wing for a Frog body I bought.

Sometimes he can be slow - I'm prepared to wait though as the lexan shells are really tough, other times I get the bits in about 2 days!

To be fair to Keith I got an email from him today reminding me that it 'can' take 14 days for delivery but her will make sure it goes out tomorrow.

So thus far a bit longer than expected but clear and helpfull communication.
