Could I ask for you to send me some pics of your clumber packs being used... I have the ones from your showrooms If you don;t have any it doesn't matter I was just wondering if you have any as I am updating the site with yours pics!

Just a quick question, but whats the score at Clumber with Nitro models? I am toying with the idea of getting a nitro buggy or truggy for racing, and if I do wondered if it was ok to run at Clumber?

I do have one term tho, I will only lie under the rump if the car successfully makes 3 jumps with no failures!

About changing my e-mail addy on here......I keep changing it to my new one but it keeps replacing it with my old one so i just gave up in the end lol

Well I would like to start with saying a HUGE thanks to Russ for his great prize, and comp idea!

We had to have a fun comp, the comp only wants to be open to people that go to clumber........ SO there was one simple answer that stood right out!.... here is how it goes:

We will mark out a track at clumber, a good track that can be seen and has a good layout. we will have 1 car that will be raced by everyone taking part (this car will NOT be modified during the races so it is fair to all who enter.) then everyone who is taking part in the event will drive the car about the track, with NO other cars on the track!

The lap time recorded and once everyone has there run time we will work out the fastest and that person will be the owner of the prize.........

The prize will be............. *Drum Roll*

A Tamiya Re-Release Subaru Brat!

RULES to the comp:

  • Points will be uncured if there is tampering to the car used.
  • Points will be uncured if there are any shortcuts taken.

Would you like to use my re-re brat as the race car if i'm able to come?

Got the gearbox on the astute 'fixed', no gear damage amazingly, especialy with the amount of noise it was making and how long i ran it like that! 'all' it was, was the alloy plate the motor bolts to had got bent from a hard landing, and the pinion wasn't engaging the spur gear, bent it back, jobs a kipper. just got stung for my TC subscription renual after saying "i'm sure mines well over due but not heard anything" it must be true, Chris has spies everywhere, we thought we saw his car didn't we!

Well what Joel and i thought was maybe running either a WW2 or a Lunchbox to make it that little bit more interesting and not quite so easy to control [;)].....Should make it a fun comp too!!!

Should be a blast mate, watching us all trying to get either the WW2 or the Lunchy round a track popping wheelies here ther and everywhere will be sooooooooo funny. I'll get some vapax batteries (as many as i can) so we all have a go with a full battery to make it as fair as possible.

Pmsl.......Well i do think that they should really join up @ www.clumbermeets.co.uk [;)]

Would be nice to see some new faces @ Clumber though but i don't want people just turning up for the one meet and taking the mick tbh...I don't mean to offend anyone by this but i'm sure you all know what i mean [:)]

I just thought it would be good fun for everyone involved with the meet.

At the moment i live with my parents [:$] and i have a bit of spare cash.......I really enjoy the meets and you guys are superb, so i thought i'd give a little back for the fun & enjoyment this hobby is giving me.

As for helping with my spending addiction, i'm sure i don't need any help there!!! Ebay accouts for that pmsl

yea sorry I forgot to say it would be a wild willy or lunchy!

About the site, it works a dram on my PC with all fancy menus but for some reason the site online looks a bit poor...... OK **** [:D]

I will get onto it ASAP
