Now my Dark Impact is almost ready to race at my local club, running many Hop-Ups and home made modifications I have fitted a slipper clutch but have found a one-way system for it. The question is can the two be used together? Has anyone done this? [:|]

Hi,

One way system and slipper clutch are almost standard parts for many competition 4WD electric buggies such as Yokomo, BJconcepts etc.... Sure you can use them together.

Thx

I ran a one-way slipper in my works 93 yoko but that came as a complete unit. It's the fact that Tamiya have released the two units seperatly so there is no way of telling if they are compatable without spending your money.[:|]

Hi Super Gripper,

yesterday evening at 21pm I received my Dark Impact, this morning at 7am it has been build and yes, both option can mount all together as I supposed at the moment I've ordered it. So don't worry, buy your One Way without problem. Dark Impact is a fantastic car, one of the best I ever had.

Thank you Max your a star,[:D] I am off to race the car tonight at a new club so I will see how it goes with just the slipper then I will order the one-way and see if the cars atitude changes[;)

Surelly the car will be a little bit faster with less battery consuption and will be quicker with the rear end steering. Releasing the trottle, the car will brake a little bit with rear wheels (like a 2WD) becoming oversteerer and making faster direction changes. Obviously will be more nervous to drive.

Cheers
