Hi!

Just thinking...

How about some new categorys in TC load items?

Like:

"Working area". (where you can upload your workbench etc...)

How cool would it be to search through alot of working areas?!!

"Custom build Baja bugs" (gathering all cool Baja bugs like

Volksrod´s, Goldnest´s, chefs_bike´s, Madmax, Toykid, mine, MikeT´s, deluxe´s, etc...)

That would be cool, just imagine all Baja bugs in one place!!!

What do you guys think?

Cheers

I second that idea [Y] !

For the first one there are the tickboxes "customized body" and "customized chassis" which also people can use in their search. A new category would make it more difficult to find as some would be listed under Sand Scorcher and some in those.

Or how about you could customize the car when you ad it?

Like "tickbox" = Twinset chassie + CRP rims + Shodog cages

+ Hitech servos + Cultech parts + Kyosho wheels + 540 motor + etc, etc...

Don´t you guys think that would be something?

So when you do search you can go on anything and still find stuff!!!

Search for twinset here; http://www.tamiyaclub.com/advancesearch.asp [;)]

Unfortunately, classification of a model is pretty much an opinion - what one person might consider as a Scorcher with a modified bumper, others might think of as a Baja Bug/Racer thingy.

And tickboxes, like most other options on here get misused too,  search ticking just crawlers on that page I linked to, and there's at least two touring cars, a few unmodifiedMaxxes ([;)]) and a Lambo Cheetah, and there's probably many more missed off where people don't think of their trucks as crawlers, even though they're upto the job!

Yea, if you check Sand Scorcher box art what do you find =)

But, IF everybody would do as they are supposed to do when they are logging in new cars etc, then you could ad new "tickbox".

I think it would be nice to ad what parts you´re useing in your car.

Same goes with hopups parts.

HU shocks, HU chassie, etc...

But, IF everybody would do as they are supposed to do

The solution to the World's problems [;)]

I would think 90% of the showrooms have 'incorrect' content (the other 10% are empty)[:D]

All of my Bullheads end up re-listed as Clods, just to keep them in the same area in my showroom, same goes for my TLTs and Max Climbers I think.

I have a few new builts that are now runners, and a couple of cars I don't own any more not yet redescribed as 'Extra info'

I think the easiest way to find these new Bugs is to agree on a 'species' for them - like Crawler, Truggy, Drifer etc. and then get everyone that owns one to put it in the description [;)]

Search with that link above again for K2K6 [:o]

I agree that a decent write up for modified kit is a great idea, I try to do it as much as possible now, and with the 4 extra pics we get, how about some decent closeups too [:D]

I reckon a section for online builds would be a good thing.

Don't forget there's no limit to what you can load into your TCPhotos area, then just do a write up on the forums, link to TCPhotos for hosting, and have a link to the forums in your showroom entry;

This could be great! In the 3d computer modeling forums I use its

called a 'WIP Thread' as in 'Work In  Progress' (which is funnily enough forum title) I spend most of my

time there as people really encourage each other & throw in ideas

or hook people up with info. Theres a good comunity here at TC and I

think it would work.

I know the Baja builders plus others including myself have done this

here already in existing forums but it would be cool to have them in

the same place.
