First up is a layshaft/drive gear combination of some sort... no markings on it at all, plastic looks like the same colour as early Tamiya stuff.... where is it from?????

Okay, we seem to have a winner on the first one.... apparently it's a clutch for a Wild Willy or Audi Quattro..... many thanks WooberGoober....

I don't know what car it is from, but it definitely is a diff case. It

uses straight gears instead of bevels and is the same type as used in

the Avante range.

Unfortunately I never took a piccy before I sold it, but that is a very similar diff set-up as the vintage Tech Racing 4wd conversion kit for a M01/M02 m-chassis. Complicated, and it didn't seem to do much different to a 'normal' diff with 3 bevels.

Tell a lie, just found I scanned the instructions.

Thanks to all, now I can put the diff casing in the "Traxxas ****" pile/box, and advertise the Willy/Audi/etc clutch. Lord knows I don't need it!!!!

Thanks again to all who took the time to offer their two cents...
