mr_pushrod 5 Posted September 19, 2006 Wow! In 1/10th as well? This could be interesting....
DJTheo 2 Posted September 19, 2006 Maybe a lexan shell on a F103GT or a TA05SW chassis? Very interesting! Cheers
akihabaramallrat 0 Posted September 19, 2006 It will also be a polycarbonate body with a carbon double deck chassis (TA05 based)
DJTheo 2 Posted September 19, 2006 Lovely, it seems Tamiya really got the message that most people rather have new great concepts and improvements then exact re-releases, like they did also with the F350! [H] Cheers
dr.roberts 0 Posted September 19, 2006 Great to have the 934 back. Coincidently, Kyosho have also just added 2 new rtr Mini-z racers lineup. They are the 1976 Vaillant 934RSR and 1977 Martini no.1 935 turbo.
hellwheels 0 Posted September 19, 2006 Hmm, whats this Keen Hawks, 4wd.... Could it bee a new buggy?
akemag 0 Posted September 19, 2006 Great news! Hope they retain the old boxart though!
SJoerD 2 Posted September 19, 2006 It's great to hear Tamiya is trying to unite the old and new into a new blend of scale looking AND driveable RC cars.
akemag 0 Posted September 21, 2006 I posted this in the other thread that got locked. Isnt the TA05 less suitable for general "bashing" and more prone to problems with debries in the belt and in open gears. So in that way i feel it would have been better to release it on a TT01 chassie. Or perhaps both.
DJTheo 2 Posted September 21, 2006 I doubt it will be a basher at that crazy price, am curious what makes it so expensive. Apparently it seems to be 49xxx number so it will be a limited release. Cheers
rich_f 233 Posted September 21, 2006 where did you see the price? how much is it?
DJTheo 2 Posted September 21, 2006 Rainbowten has stated a Japanese price http://tamiyaclub.com/CS/forums/thread/182731.aspx 4+ times higher then a normal TA05 [] Cheers
Shodog 1835 Posted September 21, 2006 this is great news, I would love to have a 1/10 934. I wonder if they will come out with special wheels with taller rubber similar to HPI's nostalgic wheels and tires. the normal low profile touring car wheels will look dorky on it. Great to have the 934 back. Coincidently, Kyosho have also just added 2 new rtr Mini-z racers lineup. They are the 1976 Vaillant 934RSR and 1977 Martini no.1 935 turbo. I saw these and had to grab a set of them. http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.a...15901&id=34 I have a Jagermeister 934 on the way from HK right now

Shodog 1835 Posted September 22, 2006 Dang still no picture Special chassis is based on TA05, and features 230mm wheelbase and carbon fiber double deck layout, cantilever center shaft All-new precision-crafted aluminum front, rear, and center bulkheads this would explaint the extra cost over a standard ta-05 Limited release means it's going to be $bucks$
