What's wrong with Rough Riders?

Hey, I know the scorcher is still the best, but why are rough riders getting so little $$$ on e-pay? I just picked one up for a 1/4 of the price of the same condition scorcher?  I swear that I love them both the same way as a kid? This one looks nice?

Nice find, but from the exhaust pipe and paddles, it looks a lot like a Scorcher with a RR body [H]

Shhhhhh...let the prices stay low. I may get a fourth[][]. (Number 3 going up in my showroom tomorrow.)

For the interested stay away...far away. Terrible car, just terrible...

I can see three reasons you got the car cheap.

1. Beacause the seller only listed it for North America so it wouldn't have shown up in eBay searches from other countries and therefore there won't have been as many people bidding for it.

2. Because the seller won't take Paypal, puts a lot of people off.

3. As mentioned by TWINSET, the correct keywords weren't used so a lot of people simply won't have seen it.

If the seller had made it available worldwide, accepted Paypal and put either "Sand Scorcher" or "Rough Rider" in the title it would have gone for a lot more money.

It's not because people don't like Rough Riders, it's just that most potential bidders won't have even been aware that the car was up for auction.

Yes, I guess that is true!

 Just like the time I offered a guy in the states $280 for a lot of cars (Wrangler, SS and some other thing that looked beat).  He said "God Bless America" at every email I sent him and I never got an answer on my offers. So long story short.  The auction ended at $45 dollars for 4 cars and a bunch of parts.  Yes god bless the amercian that needs no money?  No offence to anyone.. I just found this very rude.. Regardless of the fact the person was from the states or another country.  I lived there for a long time and have a bunch of great friends from all over the place...This was a real first!

I am questioning if it is actually a SS with a RR body?  I can't tell by the pictures, if the radio box is dark (and not dirty) that is a good indication.  I know that the tires are wrong and the pipes, but he / she had more of them around. I will attempt to get the other chassis she has, but there is still a bit of time on it. Plus do I really need more? I have a nice suprise for you guys on Sunday. I will use this posing to show you guys! Secret Scorcher / Super champ... Let's say I was getting bored...

It is a bit of a mongrel - RR body post and front tires, SS exhaust and rear tires

There is nothing wrong with Rough Riders, it's just that the Scorcher has a more Universal appeal.  IMO I like Rough Riders a lot more than Scorchers  I have three finished rough riders compared to just one finished Scorcher
