I have a Team orion Rush 17 turn motor, I just wanna know if it would make a big difference to turn the endbell and make it faster.. Is it worth it? i know my battery wont last long at all. If so which way do you turn it? if u facing it do u turn it clockwise?

or anti-clockwise?

Really not worth changing.

The motor will come out of the factory at a pretty sensible timing setting - crank it too far, and you'll just send the current drawn through the roof, without any worthwile performance gain.

Never go more than 24 degrees advanced with a mod, and you turn it anti-clockwise as you look at it.

Most modified motors are best at about 10degrees advance, too much will send heat and current bananarama and will remove loads of torque.

For the record 1mm = roughly 3 degrees.

I just bought a new Super Stock RZ motor, 23 turn and 27000rpm, I know it isnt the best...will it drain my 1400SP battery?

How do you mean? All motors drain the batteries...

Will you last a 5 minute race at full power? Maybe not.

Will it be ok to bash around with? Yes.
