Wanted to start this already 3 weeks ago, but always was forgetting it, find it weird that noone else noticed it yet.

There is something very interesting / weird in the F350 kit, lets see if someone finds it out.

If not, will post it on Monday on my site / blog.

Cheers

Won't help yet as its really something you would know its it when you see it, but if noone is close in a day or so, may give a hint.

Ok Theo, My first shot:

Concearning the Diffs: When you lock the diffs you should use a rubber thingy without the lock the manual doesn't show it.

Also with the rubber thingy the silver diff case doesn't fit (so manual is wrong?), good try [:)], but thats not it, what I am looking for is much more impressive/surprising.

Keep them coming! [Y]

is it that stupid shock spring that stopps almost all articulation?

or is it that they have light pods but give you stickers?

Im still working on completing mine, but  I did notice something is not right with the way the axles sit when configured with soft suspension. Like there is a tweek problem or something. I checked the assembly to be sure I put it together correctly and found nothing wrong there.

Unless your refering to something odd with the actual contents of the kit, then Im way off base.

There is a few things in the kit I found that seemingly have no business being there.

On another note, there is a part on one of the trees that the manual states is for the MFU.

If Im still way off then I will have to review the left over parts bin when I get home this evening.

I have not seen a kit "in the flesh" yet - but knowing you Theo - if it had a blister pack you would just about jump out of your skin for "old times" sake ! [:P]

That is a wild guewss I know - but hey !

You sure know me well [H]  but unfortunately no blister (at least tires smell nicely rubberlike! [:D])

it wouldnt be the little picture of the nitro motor with  GP on it  on the bottom of the decal sheet would it?

And we already have a winner! Congratulations Barney [H][Y], yes, I meant the EP/GP written on the decal sheet!

So it seems there will be a nitro F350 in the future! [H] Now let the speculations begin! [:P]

I say a nice low revving 4 cycle nitro or even better diesel, not powering the gearbox directly, but a generator, gearbox is still driven by electric motor for low speed crawling and no need for clutch, coupled also with a new Hilux body, making a hybrid (synergy drive) RC like its 1:1 counterparts from Toyota/Lexus/Honda. Don't take it seriously, just wishfull thinking, but maybe in 10 years??

i had the wife searching the parts trees etc and i grabbed the decal sheet and the nitro motor was about the only really odd thing i could find.

with the 4 link mounts supplied, could that be a hint as to a 4 link version in the future maybe?

Yes, on the manual it writes they are for (future) hopups (scan from Shodogs showroom)
