manta ray diff set

i have recently bought a subaru impreza on ebay where else, i have a manta ray diff set that i had on a ff02 chassis, not being to experianced in these things would it be worth fitting to my car and what differance would it make, im running a 14x2 motor, ballraces and tuned gears.

Is it a ball diff set or just a standard gear diff?  If it's a ball diff and your Impreza has a gear diff then "yes" otherwise there's no benefit.

This is on the primary assumption that your Impreza has a compatible gearbox.

But what chassis is the Impreza? There are quite a few versions.

sorry guys my car is a tl-01 58273 hope this helps. i thought the ff02 and tl-01 where the same at the front gearbox.

FF02 front diff has the motor and is different to TL01 one, but MR ball diff fits both.
