F-350 Improvements?

Now the F-350 has been released on many built.  For those that have the F-350 up and running what improvements you would like to see or any weak links so far that can be strengthen?

i would like a better suspension and better gearbox with no clutch

i would like to see:

1. water cover like the original 3 speeds

2. a winch maybee?

3. wrap around bull bar like the hilux/blazer

4. light set (for those who want lights but cant afford/dont want a multi function unit)

5. oil shocks

6. transmitter operated locking diffs (these would be the best of the bunch if a bit expensive)(copying ARB air lockers)

Definitely oil shocks.  The ride is a bit bouncy.  Maybe helical cut gears to quiet it down a bit. []

Mmmmm........judging from the amount of responses, members that can affort the F-350 and has built it are not putting it throught its pace like with the XC.  But running her like a shelf queen, very carefully with kid gloves. 

Since I haven't purchase the F-350, I can't comment on the durabililty aspects or the performance, only the appearance.

I like the idea covering the hole for the antenna and relocating the antenna at the back of truck like on the bumper as in the Hilux.

The wheels and tires could be bigger.  By how much?  Can't say until a few mock up available.

Add sway bars front and back.  More for looks than for function.

Running board or nerf bars on the sides.

Whats wrong with the gearbox and the clutch? The 2nd is also adjustable, so you can tighted it so much up that its like without one.

Check some videos in the movie section, you will see not everyone runs them like shelf queens, but they have used them for heavy crawling, BL motors and even jumping, with no problems. When you build one you realise its a very strong construction (much stronger then the old 3 speeds), everything is multiply fixed/screwed and/or ball raced, axles and diffs are very strong, so no need for improvements in the durability section.

The steering and suspension could be improved performancewise but thats also the price to pay for the scale look, anyway later Tamiya will make a 4-link kit for it.

 May be a body with clear brake light lenses?

The High Lift body has clear rear lenses, opposite to the original F350 Juggernaut body.

I'd like to have a hard shell 4 door short bed truck body instead of the 2 door long bed.  IMO the 4 door looks much better than the 2 door long bed.
