I had a crazy idea.  Why not hook up the 4th channel of the radio to the rear steering separately.  This would give total control.  Both sticks on the radio would control left and right - front and rear separate.  Could mount the second servo next to the current steering servo.  Ultimate in on-road stunts and off-road control.

Nice idea [:)]

i was wondering earlier where a second steering servo could go, as mine is still in bits its hard to jusge how much space there is for a second steering servo.

Bigfoot 1 had independant 4 wheel steering, way back in the 1970's.

Funny enough, it was also a ford truck, and its wheels were originally about the same size when compared to tamiyas 1/10 scale creation. I think mr tamiya has a thing for the early monster trucks [:)

I was planning on doing exactly this with mine - when (if) I can

afford to get one.  Used the left stick for motor and rear

steering, right stick for up-down gearshift and left-right front

steering.  So it can be driven as normal, but the left stick can

come into play for rear-wheel steering when required.

Not only

would it look seriously cool, it would also be good for directional

correction and anti-roll correction when climbing [:D]
