I would like some info on M-chassis's. My first car was the M-04L but I misused it, it had BB's and that was it now I want to get a M-04M and want to kit it out properly.

I will of course be getting:

BB's

Oil Shocks

I would like to know what other things I should get?

And also if I should get a 53346 quick release battery holder (will it fit the M-04M.

Also any other help that I might need, Tires, Shock settings, What motors do you use), servos.

Thanks in advance.

Thats good to know about the search engine. My advice would be as ever to keep it basic and simple, that way you will have the fun of racing a car that doesn't matter so much if you cut a kirb and scratch it - like my tt01.

Oil shocks, turnbuckles, bearings, aluminium steering if you can get it and i think u are gona be about there. I find more fun in trashing a lower spec car than trying to tame a full spec one.

yes I agree on that I was I suppose wondering if it has any floors as a chassis that a mod will stop???

I wouldn't worry about fancy servos; the M-chassis versions are so little and light.

Get an ESC if your car hasn't already got one; they make it so much more driveable.

An front 'Eagle' foam bumper  is great for keeping your bodyshell intact if you hit anything (the purple ones often seen on Ebay).

Get the wiring tucked away; the chassis is very narrow and I've seen cars that have bits of wiring dragging on the floor (which isn't good!).

A quick release battery holder is incredibly useful rather than fiddling around with the standard clip release under a small bodyshell.

yes I know I found that on my M-40L and the Blackfoot extreme
