Sorry Andy, couldn't help it![;)]  They seem cheap at Amazon.co.uk

USE THE SEARCH STUPID!!!!

Sorry Andy, if you went onto ebay, and searched for BRUDER ACTROS, you'll find em.

The shocks have been re-thinked-ed and i've got a coke can of articulation now, not bad.

 Cab has been painted, half.

Definitely - just checking you was all following my suggestion and taking it on board; Search is good [:D]

I've not seen a UK project using a Bruder yet, just thought we couldn't get them.

Didn't actually know Amazon did toys either [:|]

Yep Amazon do toys!!

I've got 2 of those Actros cabs here I have possible plans for one of them the other is going spare

If you want the spare one Andy then LMK and I'm sure something could be arranged

Looking good, My first post in this section and on a fine project. I have plans to do a dakar support truck some time soon for either the touaregs or my T3 pajero so am shopping for ideas here.

A couple of points tho - I recently picked up 2 bruder trucks for my cousin for xmas in france, And whilst not with the 3 pointed star on [:(] "I like mercs [;)] they had little flashing lights on which i might nab for a police car lol as well as lots of fuctions for 16 Euros. not bad really

Also what support team is this truck goin to be for? VW, Mitsubishi? Any ideas how it will work on sand? as I race my touareg on sand as shown in my showroom and a I would love a support truck for them.

regards Ryck

Not really given it much thought, but it's going ot be in the Red-Bull livery, so i might-as-well do a VeeDub support Truck eh?

Cool, I must say I am tempted to put another axle on an xc touareg to get 6wd, for a support truck as the stock xc/cc01 is very compitant off road anyway, will one of these bruder cabs fit on it?

cheers Ryck

I need a new cab!!!!

I went to the LHS, and got 3 Humbrol Sprays;

Primer - Great stuff, would use it again

Blue and Silver - Blue is still unused, the silver paint DID NOT DRY!

So, today, i took it off the box next to the radiator. And took it to the garage, in my hand i had;

Nitro Fuel

2 Types of Oven Cleaner

and Some Glass Cleaner

Nitro Fuel - Melted the plastic.

Oven cleaner - pitted the plastic and made the paint very soft

Glass Cleaner - no effect

So. GUTTED.

Ah ****** it. Need a cab soon.

Mike [:@]

PS - I then threw the cab at the floor and came inside.

[:D] Been there, done that (with the VW Crawler)

Nice to know I'm not the only one who still has paddies when their toys don't work properly

Thought you'd see this Andy!!!

'Mazin How you get so wound up over a piece of plastic aint it ;)

I quite agree. Still cant work out how I stayed so calm after the wife dropped an electric plug across the bonnet of my Bruiser leaving three gashes down to bare plastic, just 10 mins after giving it its last coat of clear.

Have you tried brake fluid?

Cos she's bigger than you? [;)]

Yup, I slammed mine into a concrete planter, snapping every roof pillar, bar one.

The newly smoothed off nosecone cracked wide open, and I still haven't found the rear number plate light thingy [:$]

The wife just stood to one side as I went in mumbling [8o|]
