are they any compatible parts for these 959 parts?

Hey all,

Well, finally took the 959 out for another spin after it developed a chattering in the gearbox atnd sat in pieces on my table for months.  Finally took another look at the boxes to see if I could find the problem.  It seems someone had switched out the bearings for the axles in the rear box for plastic bushings, allowing for too much slop and play.

So I took care of that, and took her out for spin.  Seemed to care care of the problem, but when I checked the car after running for few min. I found I was missing the right rear dogbone/driveshaft!  It seems that the screw holding in lower suspension arm in place fell out, and allow the shaft to go with it.  I looked around in the dirt, but no trace.

I was wondering if there was any other driveshaft from any other car that would fit (I know, highly doubtful), like the mini or something.  Also, are the BL1 rear arm screws (part threaded/part smooth) unique to 959 as well?

I hope I can replace these parts, as I think the car is finally sorted out.

These parts are available on Ebay - the drive shafts are tuff to find and expensive(usually $10-$25 each).  If you can't find any let me know, I have most of the 959 parts new in the bags in my garage.  I am sure I have drive shafts.  Because the car is 1/12 the shafts are smaller than most of the others made for other cars, I don't think the others will fit.

Toyota Celica gr B shares the parts with the 959...Sometimes the parts are less on ebay if someone does not know the Celica and 959 are sisters...

Thanks, I was hoping that maybe the parts might be compatible with something less rare.  No such luck I guess.  The shaft I should be able find, it's the screw I'm wondering about.

I haven't been able to track any parts down yet.  Do you think you have a loose shaft or the rear sus. screw?
