I use Windows Movie Maker (free with XP)

Once you've edited the movie, you can select the filesize you want to save to, TC hosting limit is 15mb per movie.

Ive found you're better off to go to the biggest filesize for the given 'screen size' rather than the smallest filesize of the next screen size up

(a 14mb 320 x150 will play better than a 15mb 800 x 600 for instance)

Are you a Mac or PC user? Mac's have imovie built into OSX which is dead easy to get to grips with, also Final Cut Pro for more serious stuff. The problem I have with my Mac is getting stuff into wmv format for this place. I've managed it but with a lot of messing about. Are there any other Mac users out there who have any tips?

Like Twinset I use moviemaker. It is very easy (pros) but hasn't got much features (cons) . It works for me you can edit the movie very very easy. I suppose Adobe Premiere etc are much better, but this is free and works for me.

I would like to use Windows Movie Maker, but it doesn't accept vidoes

taken by my digital camera (any of you computer geeks know a way to

convert file types?)

what type of file is it mate , there a many free converters out there. superprising you camera wont put it into a simple .avi and Windows movie maker accept it.

basically get something thats .your extention to a .avi.  Simply search that on google for some free downloads. (shareware)

I´m using iMove for my movies even if it´s a bit to easy. The file get´s

out in .mov but it works. I want to learn more about Final Cut Express.

To have the option to use layers and diffren´t sound for diffren´t

scenes. In iMovie you can use iMovies diffrent effects, but they are

not any fun when you have done five diffrent movies or less.
