Depends on what kind of motors. When using 2 motors a good rule of thumb is to use an ESC with an at least 10 turns lower limit, for example for 2 stock motors (27T) a 17T or lower ESC.

tbh, Fusion Hobbies is about the cheapest I have seen for kits that are in the UK and it's great service too (I had my TXT-1 from there) and it was delivered fast and communications with James have always been friendly when I have dealt with him.

LHS are always expensive because of the overheads on the shop etc... I had my King Blackfoot from an LHS and I paid through the nose for it, but as I wanted it like "now" I was ok with it.

Thats my experience anyway.

yeah fusion hobbys i far best the cheapest [^]

its a pity realy as these prices could kill the LHS's as more people resort to buying from abroad or online to satisfy there need for new tamiya kits/parts at lower prices

If the LHS provides a good service, they have nothing to fear from online shops. I tend to buy the kits online, and the parts, tools, paint from my LHS. And if my LHS will match, or come close to online suppliers, he gets the business for the kits too (hasn't happened yet though, and my Clod will be coming from Fusion, unless they are flogging them cheaper at Model Expo 2004 [:P])

hi all,

I went to the hobby hut the other day, its not actually in rugby, but hillmorton, which is very close, i live in rugby. Im glad we had satnav though, got their address but i wouldnt have found if i didnt have GPS, its down the backstreets, way out of the town centre. Quite a good shop, small, but they seem to have a good range. They also do other RC, trickbits etc. Its more a well rounded place, Model kits and crafts are there too, but its quite balanced. They are really helpful in the store and were there with good advice on all their products and lots of info, they seemed really into everything there, its a shame that their reputation on ebay lets them down a little. I mite go into the stor to see if they have a clodbuster at £145 there, thats an excellent price i think we'll all agree. At least if I go there in person, I'll know if the kit seems dodgy.

off to bed, really knackered after a day of RC'ing! [8D]

yes jim it would be nice to hear if they have them in stock, but to be honest i would say that u will be told it will have to be ordered from HK.i have noticed this alot with ebay shops lately. i have been having big problems trying to view the snetterton model shop website i want to look at there selection of monster trucks but to no avail.

thou my TT01 was sold this morning. was i so wrong another free rider (play an nopay) offered £40 for it with radio gear.was soooo [:(!] i told the chap he could have the wheels for that price and reminded him my car isnt a NIKKO an took alot of hard earn pay to get this car to what it is now i dont think people understand just how exspensive this hobby can be.
