Hi,

I've got a Baja Champ with no body and was wondering what different bodies would work well as the original is a

bit of an ungainly thing. I intend the car to still have a general 'off road' theme but doesn't have to be a buggy.

Any ideas or pics of work done?

Cheers

Sand Scorcher / Blitzer / Monster Beetle shells always work well as they already look like off-road cars that exist.

Otherwise

you're pulling from the parts catalogs of existing buggy shells, or you

could try to find a truck shell that looks good and make a racing

pickup.  Is the Baja Champ based on a TL01 chassis?  If so

then the wheelbase may be the same as a generic touring car body, so

the world is your oyster - but maybe take the chassis into a hobby

store and compare the wheelbase to a selection of shells first...

tobyd: I have a Baja King, which is the same car, just a different body.  I trashed my body a while back and got a truck, like a stadium raider type thing, body, I think from Model Sport UK.  It fitted perfectly using 4 body posts, which I think were included in the original kit.
