Yeah i got the clod bug and it feels great!!! [:D]

I paid £186 including a set of race bearings! They do the kit for £190 nib and £16.50 for the bearings and then i got my 10% tamiya club discound which brought it down to £186!

Im exspecting it monday or tuesday! Ordered it at work today and got caught by the boss lady![:(] And all she said was bring it in and show me! lol [8D]

Virus fusion hobbies are good for pricing on the superclod because the £190 they offer it includes postage!! And if you belong ot tamiya club they take 10% off!!

So if your going to buy one at all get it from there!! They also sell modclod chassis for a pritty number! http://www.fusionhobbies.com/accessories/a...TTRRIPP-01S.htm

Let me know what colour you paint your when you get it paul!

We will have to try and get to a meet at the same time paul to compare the finished products![:D] Im deff gonna go ModClod tho its like going to the moon! it just has to be done!i think i will paint my Super clod bodyshell and keep it for show and get a basher shell!

Then when i get my modclod chassis i can just take out the gearboxes and use the rest as spares and a shelf queen (if i dont kill it first[}:)])

yeah would be cool siv429 maybe squash a few 1/10 cars around snetterton track some time

will keep ya's updated on the project.... that fusion modclod chassis has had me drooling for last fifteen mins [:P]

was thinking maybe a lotus car shell as an ex sprayer that worked for them is gonna do my shell but have warned him no lotus green [B)]

am not sure because it is what we call a hard shell (not lexan) i would do a search to see if it throws anything up

[:(] just seen the fusion hobbys post 10% discount only to subscriber members [:(]

and is there any shells that resemble a pickup truck body with a workin tail gate or anyway to cut an shut 2 bodys together ?

Hard bodies can be sprayed by pretty much anything can't they, i.e car spray paint, plastic paint, acrylic humbrol etc etc... Certainly one big advantage over lexan.

As you know Justin have been thinking about a Super Clod for a while [;)] but am torn between that and an remote control helicopter aka AIRWOLF..... decisions decisions.

You right the clod is a hard body so you will need to paint it like you would a model. You want to use Hobby model paint instead of Polycarbonate paint. I recomend Tamiya TS series as It's about the best spray can paint you can buy. Use a thin primer beforehand as it will help the paint stick. For a paint job similar to the box art super clod I would recomend a the Tamiya Mettalic blue. Then spray a bunch of clear coats on them to get a high shine.
