Im not sure if you guys have the same problem as me, but i think that Tamiya battery clips suck.. is it just me? The battery clips actually melt together! its happened to me twice in 1 week! and if i change them, then whenever i get a new battery, i have to change that clip too..[!]

No melting here. Do you run hot batteries ?

Yep, Tamiya connectors are rubbish! They can't handle the high currents a car will draw. Change to Deans or Corallies or similar and you will see a huge difference. Get rid of the bullet connectors to the motors as well.

Just about any motor hotter than a standard 540 will eventually melt the connectors. Search the forums for deans and powerpole for more info.
