Nice pics Dazmeister, the orange looks proper.  I hope the release some Jager decals for it!

Bummer about the exposed screws for the front body mounts, maybe they could have made some caps to hide them?  Oh well, still no complaints here!

Doesn't the Brat with a 540 in it interest anyone?  Or is that a "history" piece just at the show for display - notable no product number next to it?

I think a really bad idea on the Tam Tech Gear Chassis having the gearbox and ujs ready assembled?  Always, always been convinced people get Tamiya to build it - what's the point if it's half done (especially when it's the interesting part half done).

Dee and Wireless, don't worry, at that price and especially with the Tamtech 934 re-lease the "limited" TA05 won't be too hard to get for the next months, Tamiya collecting ain't that big so all 1000 will be gone on day one, just few fools like us (me included) bought or preordered them LOL [:D] I think we are talking about the same large re-seller and just that he is sold out (as he had the best price) doens't mean all the other (more expensive) shops will do the same.

Shopkeeper, the Brat is long discussed, will be a March release and will cost more then the Frog (20.000 vs 16.000 Yen I think)

Cheers

Theo, you have hit the nail on the head as when I went on the Tamiya factory tour on Monday I saw the development guys working on a lexan Countach

Man, that's great news! (I hope).

What size was that Countach? Could it be the 1/12 TamTech serie?

No more re-res but new cars with an exotic and sexy body! Great![H]

Ehr, honestly, not so great, my wish list becomes larger and larger (TA-05 934, TamTech 934, TT-01 RX-7, Countach...) and my credits run out quicker and quicker...[:S]

Now that I think of it: you can use the 1/12 decals of the TamTech for the vintage 934...that's bad news for repro-sellers.

Grtz Buyaholic-Dee.

PS Wireless, thx for reply.[Y] Me ' appy![<:o)]

Hey Dee,

The Countach body I saw was the same dimensions as the ABS original so will be a 1/12th scale on the same chassis as the Porsche 934. When comparing the original 934 to the new Tamtech 934 by eye they look exactly the same dimensions.

I have some more pics, regarding the Brat they had it on display at Twin Messe Friday before the public arrived and it had an unpainted shell on it.

I forgot to check to see if it had a diff, too busy being Team Leader and mechanic for Marcus "Q-Ball" Askell who won the GT World Championship !
