If it's not raining, I'll be down at Poole Park Lake with my boat this coming Saturday/Sunday (25/26) sometime.  Saturday weather is forecast rain with Sunday better, so maybe Sunday.  Not great for running cars, but White Cliff park (other side of the railway line) isn't too bad: a few hills and jumps and some tarmac.  If anyone else fancies a meet, I'll take a couple of cars down too.

I have so few friends, I'm now replying to my own posts!!!

I will also stay indoors if its too windy.  Saturday is supposed to be very windy indeed, so Sunday is looking better, Sunday morning anyway: I'm otherwise engaged in the afternoon.

Mike, would love to join you chap but I have got my daughter this weekend so no rc for me! Doh!! Still, quality time with the little'un will make up for it.  Shame you could not make it to the Yeovil meet.

Hope to catch you soon!  [:)]

Have just checked the forecast for Sunday and it looks better: not as windy and not as rainy.  If it isn't too bad, I'll be at the lake in the morning, early-ish (10:00?).  Just received a new sound module for boat and want to test it out asap!

Yea , we did go, got totally soaked but some vids and photos which I will pop up later. It was awsome fun but my ripmax esc got water logged and stopped working after about 20 mins, my mates tamiya esc in his LB had no probs at all.

My Mate has kindly hosted the vids, he's the one driving the lunchbox. Mine is the focus. Camera phone quality vid so not brilliant. Anyway click on the links or save as. You will need Quick Time to view.

Blatting about in the rain really did make me feel 10 years younger.

I was going to come along, weather permitting (too old to enjoy getting wet anymore, yeah I know, what a light-weight!), until Mr Wind decided to trash my fence.  Looks like I'm spending the weekend digging out old fence posts and replacing fence panels: yippee!

Have fun anyway

Did you guys get to Hengistbury Head today?  Weather was great in the end.

Mike

Hi Mike, we had an Uber time as the weather was great and the main carpark was completely empty on the right hand side so we were racing between lamposts. Carnage ensued though and after a few crashes bits were missing. I had my blackfoot extreme with a 19T motor in and my Mate had his Lunchbox newly upgraded with his Tamiya Super Stock RZ and ball racers. The trucks had the same performance on the straight so wining was down to the corners and rubbing (read dirty sideswipe tactics).
